What makes Networlding so compelling and does it really work? 

The short answer is YES! to 'does it really work' ...... here's the long answer to 'what makes Networlding so compelling'

In January 2009, I made a decision to start a social enterprise called Leaders Cafe.  The aim of Leaders Cafe is to reduce inequality in society in relation to leadership learning.  I just felt it was time to provide leadership learning to those who cannot afford it.  I set out with a target of reaching 20 million people by the year 2020.  Social Enteprises are for-profit companies with a social charter - the aim is to use the profits for the betterment of society. 

Leaders Cafe was started against the background of no finance and no resources other than just me.  No one with a sane mind would do that right?  Because it's just too risky and everything points to failure, right?. So, how did I do it?  It was through experimenting with, and the use of, social networking and social media technology.

I will be honest and say I wouldn't be able to put a methodology to my 18 months experience of social networking and using social media. My social networking journey has been a long and tough one - and if there was one thing I wish I knew at the start - it is that I wish I knew about Networlding.  You see, unknowingly, I had been following the Networlding methodology (albeit doing it in my own way).  If I had known about Networlding, I know I would have had a shorter and less arduous journey. Nevertheless, two good things came out of my arduous journey

I know the Networlding methodology works and you can succeed against all odds - because I lived and breathed it myself.  I just didn't have a name for what I did.
It led me to link up with Melissa, who has become a huge supporter of Leaders Cafe.

You can imagine how thrilled I am to become a Networlding Ambassador.  At last, I can put a name and a method to what I did through intuition!

Networlding is more than about how you can create social capital from social networking - its about how you give away your social capital to create the greatest results for you, others, profits, society and the planet.  In so doing, you 'capitalise' on your social capital.
